I.D. Images LLC, a pressure-sensitive label converter based in Brunswick, Ohio, has acquired assets of Ready Flow Printing, located in Bentonville, Ark.
Ready Flow Printing’s roots can be traced back to 1982. Founded as a high-quality flexographic and offset printer, the firm initially was known for providing shelf signage to the grocery industry. In recent years, under the guidance of owner Simon Robinson, Ready Flow Printing has expanded into the label and rolled film industry.
This transaction marks I.D. Images LLC’s seventh acquisition since 2009. Notable deals include Concorde Labeling Systems (2009), Specialty Tape & Label (2010), Heather Label (2011), Hi-Tech Printing (2013) and Superior Business Associates (2015), among others.
“We are excited to add Ready Flow’s team, products and capabilities to ours,” Brian Gale, president and CEO of I.D. Images LLC, said of the acquisition. “Ready Flow’s high-end printing capabilities will allow us to offer more solutions to our customers. We are also excited to offer our solutions to Ready Flow’s customer base.
“We continue to invest in I.D. Images, both organically and via acquisitions as we see opportunities to better serve our customers.”
Most recently, I.D. Images LLC ranked No. 16 on Print+Promo’s 2017 Top 50 Suppliers list, with $48 million in annual sales. The top supplier will continue to operate Ready Flow Printing’s Bentonville location.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. But, according to a press release, CIBC provided financing for the transaction, and law firm Vorys, Sater, Seymor and Pease LLP provided legal counsel to I.D. Images LLC.
