Distributors, mark your calendars. The Specialty Advertising Association of California (SAAC), the Southern California region's nonprofit association, will host The 2013 SAAC Show on Aug. 7-8 in Long Beach, Calif.
"The SAAC Show provides a great venue to see a great variety of promotional products, meet with supplier company representatives and build relationships. This is the show for suppliers and manufacturers to debut new products that they have developed or brought out since the beginning of the year," explained Nancy Phillips, SAAC executive director. "Attendees love seeing what is new as they get ready for the second selling season, the fourth quarter, which is often the biggest selling season of the year for both suppliers and distributors."
The West Coast show is more than just another opportunity for industry professionals to shake hands and exchange pleasantries-it's a unique brand of culture.
"There is no way to modestly say this, so we won't be modest: The SAAC Show isn't just a trade show-it's an experience. It has a unique vibe and personality that set it apart from all other regional and national shows," Phillips said. "The SAAC Show offers rewards, relationships, knowledge and passion with a Southern-California-cool attitude."
According to Phillips, attendee registration is significantly up this year. And as members of the print and promotional products industry flock to Long Beach, they will notice several changes including a rebranded SAAC Show theme and logo, along with a new layout. On-site registration has moved upstairs to the lobby level of the Long Beach Convention Center.
"We feel this will make the registration process more effective and allow for a larger area downstairs for show exhibits and activities," Phillips noted. "The new floor plan has several lounge areas for meet and greets, and areas for mini education sessions during the show."
