San Diego-based Pacific Emblem Co. has created the uZAPPit™ Smart Tag, a combination of a Quick Response (QR) code and the company's full-color printed Smart Tags.
The company can print a one- to full-color image on one side and then specifically code your message, URL, phone number and SMS, using its Smart Code Generator. uZAPPit!™ codes can contain a coupon for your favorite coffee shop or they can activate phone functions and directly link to an e-mail or a specific website (Note: uZAPPit!™ Smart Tags require you to download the free QR reader app on your smartphone).
An instant, direct link to content allows companies to connect with consumers and open the horizon to successful tracking of usage and exposure, all while optimizing search engine and digital visibility. Instead of providing a website URL, which a viewer must write down or remember before typing into his or her Web browser, QR codes eliminate the extra step and open the browser to specific content. They also create a community, as users have access to materials only available through the code.
uZAPPit!™ Smart Tags come as a dog tag or a keychain. They are ideal for many industries, including food and beverage and apparel.
