Celebrate love throughout the year with the Love Ribbons stamp series from the U.S. Postal Service. The stamp features the word "Love" in a ribbon-like, cursive script. MACtac® supplied the pressure-sensitive adhesive label material for the 300 million 45-cent Forever® stamps issued.
"The Love Ribbons stamps are an elegant way to adorn correspondence to those you love throughout the year," said Allison Hazel, marketing manager, MACtac Printing Products.
This stamp series has the motif of a satin white ribbon, which extends beyond the borders and throughout the word "Love." The formal and delicate presentation of the design represents the gestures of romance, friendship and caring. Greg Breeding served as the stamp's designer and William J. Glicker served as art director.
The Love Ribbons stamps are available in panes of 20 self-adhesive Forever stamps. The stamps may be purchased at local post offices, at the postal store website at www.usps.com/shop or by calling (800) STAMP-24.
