Print+Promo (P+P): What drove the decision to rebrand this year's show? How did PSDA come up with the new name?
Rob Whitman (RW): The PSDA15: P2P Solutions Summit is a new name and brand that reflects our desire to build strong peer-to-peer knowledge and networking groups within the PSDA membership. We have a strong alliance among business owners, and they operate as a peer group during many PSDA events, especially at the annual CEO Summit. We want to attract more senior sales leaders this year, so we rebranded the event to connect with that audience. During the P2P Summit, we will have peer group networking and knowledge sharing for business owners and for experienced or senior sales leaders to create engagement of those audiences. The association comprises several different communities, and we believe we can strengthen our membership and offer more value to these two key audiences. Our long-term objective is to build and grow these and other peer communities within PSDA. PSDA's Young Innovators event last year displayed the value of getting like-minded audiences of next-generation leaders together to share knowledge and ideas, and to help individuals grow.
