P+P: Why change the event's name now, since the show was rebranded as Distributor Solutions Expo in 2013? Did it take some convincing to get everyone on board?
RW: Even though PSDA's premier annual event had a new name and brand launched in 2013, this was an easy decision for everyone because the nature of the experience has changed. PSDA wants to target and develop these key member groups and facilitate peer-to-peer engagement. We created a committee last year that included board members, staff team members, and general association members, and together they developed the approach and the branding for the 2015 event.
