A Winning Bet

All of life is a bit of a gamble, and in our daily wagers, cards, chips and dice need not be involved. These gambles come at us from every direction, from high-powered, multimillion dollar negotiations, to deciding whether it is wise to eat the mysterious leftovers tucked away in the back of the fridge.
While placing our bets, there is no better place on earth to see the extreme magnification of what comes with good luck and sound decision making versus what comes with a little bad luck and poor decision making than Las Vegas.
Next month, much of the industry will hit the road and gather in the desert city of neon lights to view, peruse and examine the latest in new products, services and technology. Some of the biggest winners in Las Vegas over the course of the three-day event will not find their winnings on the casino floor, but on the showroom floor, whether it be in discovering a new product or client solution.
