Admore Recognized at Gallery of Superb Printing Awards Dinner
Macomb, Michigan-based Admore announced it was recognized at The Detroit Club of Printing House Craftsmen's 21st Annual Gallery of Superb Printing awards dinner on April 20, winning seven awards. The Gallery of Superb Printing awards program is held each year to recognize deserving companies for outstanding workmanship in the printing industry. Admore is a division of Midlothian, Texas-based Ennis.
Admore was honored for its achievements in printing, foil stamping, embossing and die cutting. An International Gold Award was presented for "Aurora Cooperative," a presentation folder with inserts that used multiple techniques to recreate the look of denim jeans with an actual kerchief in a die cut pocket. Admore also won multiple GOLD awards for self-promotion projects including "The Admore Line 2010 Sales Kit," the Halloween-themed "SEEKER" and the embossed and foil stamped "Cup of Inspiration" specialty folder promotions. Two Silver Awards and one International Honorable Mention were also awarded.
Bill Tignanelli, general manager of Admore, said, "These awards again solidify Admore as the industry's innovative leader. The honors bestowed are a result of our team's hard work, dedication to our customers and the desire to exceed expectations."
Entries in The Gallery of Superb Printing are judged based upon the quality of the piece. They are evaluated on registration, ink coverage, color intensity, dot structure, binding quality and finishing, overall appearance and difficulty. To receive an award, each printed piece must display an exemplary level of craftsmanship.
