Adobe InDesign Conference to Cover New CS3 Topics
Minneapolis-based Barrycon Productions—an independent event organizer for Adobe products—announced the InDesign Conference will be held in New York City, June 4 through 8, at the Fashion Institute of Technology Conference Center. The conference will feature 18 leading InDesign instructors presenting more than 40 sessions, including in-depth coverage of both Adobe InDesign CS2 and the newly released InDesign CS3.
Attendees can also sign up for full-day “Quick Start” courses on June 4, and a full-day tutorial on Mastering the Adobe Creative Suite on June 8, as well as four additional half-day tutorials throughout the conference. The full-day course on Mastering the Adobe Suite will offer tips and tricks for optimizing the full Creative Suite and the additional half-day paid tutorials will discuss Flash, Java-scripting, XML workflows and the essentials of Acrobat PDF’s. The Quick Start courses will cover InDesign Essentials and the InCopy/InDesign Workflow. Session topics include handling images, streamlining workflow and managing output quality. The event will also include special overviews and in-depth training on InDesign CS3.
Intended for graphic designers and Web developers ranging from beginner to expert levels, the InDesign Conference offers a variety of options for attendees to choose from, including tutorial and day passes, as well as a Platinum Pass for all tracks and tutorials scheduled for June 5 through 7. Platinum attendees will also receive a one-year subscription to InDesign Magazine, and a special pass to an evening networking activity on June 6.
