American Solutions for Business Appoints Ambassador
John (J.P.) Shea was recently hired by Glenwood, Minnesota-based American Solutions for Business (ASB) to serve in a newly created position referred to as the American Ambassador.
Shea has been an ASB sales associate for the past 11 years, and transitioned into his new post earlier this year. During his time in sales, he earned numerous awards and commendations, including the President’s Award—the most prestigious honor within the company. Recipients of this award are chosen by Larry Zavadil, president, and must have a dedication to the ideas and principles that founded ASB, as well as a commitment to improve the company for the benefit of all.
In addition to earning sales volume citations, Shea was honored by his peers in 2005 with the American Eagle Award for demonstrating the American spirit by unselfishly sharing his time and expertise and extending a helping hand to improve and energize morale with his positive attitude.
As Ambassador, he will assist in responding to prospective sales associates who contact the company looking for information regarding the American opportunity. He will coordinate visits to the corporate office during which prospective associates meet the corporate team before making the decision whether or not to join the American family. Shea will also work with the existing sales force in an advisory capacity.
“I can’t think of a more positive introduction to American than having a prospective associate meet and visit with J.P. Shea,” said Zavadil, “and I’m thrilled that he has agreed to commit some time to serve as our American Ambassador. He brings a wealth of knowledge and a wide-range of experiences with him to this new position.”
