American Solutions for Business Employee Helps Bridge Victims

George Horner, sales associate for American Solutions for Business, Glenwood, Minn., was on his bicycle only a quarter of a mile away when the I-35W bridge collapsed in Minneapolis last month. After seeing dark smoke rise out of an area of collapsed pavement, Horner and about six other bikers immediately rode to the scene, less than a minute after the collapse.

Said Horner, “I saw people standing on the fallen bridge using cell phones, cars in the water and people above on the bridge deck struggling to get down to the ground.”

After helping victims, he and the remaining bikers went their separate ways.
