American Solutions for Business Names Justin Zavadil President

It’s official: Justin Zavadil has been named president of top 50 distributor American Solutions for Business (ASB). Zavadil is no stranger to the industry—his father, Larry Zavadil, is the founder and CEO of the Glenwood, Minnesota-based company.

The younger Zavadil spent many summer breaks in the mailroom and at the warehouse, or he could be found providing on-site maintenance for the growing distributorship. After graduating from the University of Minnesota, Zavadil began a career in real estate, but later accepted a sales position at ASB, where he served the Minneapolis market. Over the years, he climbed the ranks, working as the director of vendor relations, vice president of sales and, most recently, executive vice president.

In his new role, Zavadil will manage the senior leadership team and the following home office departments: operations, finance, human resources, information technology, strategic operations support, marketing, vendor relations and vertical markets (e.g., GPO, automotive, financial, retail and franchise).

When he’s not in the office, Zavadil can be found spending time with his wife, Alisha, and their three-year-old daughter, Willow, along with several animal companions, including: a Great Dane named Winston; one cat; three horses; and a small herd of hardy sheep.
