American Solutions for Business (ASB), Glenwood, Minn., has been named one of the top business-to-business (B2B) e-commerce companies in the B2B E-commerce 300, compiled by a collaboration of Internet Retailer, B2BecommerceWorld.com and the B2BecNews newsletter.
In its 2015 ranking, the group rated the top 300 manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors and retailers based on annual B2B e-commerce sales. ASB was rated No. 167 on the list, which was topped by Exxon Mobil Corp., the largest publicly traded international oil and gas company. The remainder of the top 10 include: Chevron Corp., Apple Inc., General Motors, Phillips 66, Ford Motor, General Electric, Valero Energy, Dell and Hewlett-Packard Co.
“We are pleased to have made the inaugural Internet Retailer B2B Top 300,” said Michael Schmitz, director of e-commerce, ASB. “It demonstrates that much of the investment and hard work in the online channel are paying dividends. This is a reflection of the support we have received from our entire leadership team; but more importantly, it demonstrates the forward thinking and collaboration of our sales associates to grow this channel.”
According to Internet Retailer magazine, collectively, B2B E-Commerce 300 will transact $547.11 billion in sales via the Web this year, up 13.3 percent from 2014.
