Appleton Reports Strong Third Quarter Results

Appleton, Wisconsin-based Appleton revealed third quarter 2010 highlights compared to third quarter 2009. Findings included:

• Net sales of $214.9 million were up 9.8 percent

• Net sales of thermal papers were up 25.2 percent and shipments were up approximately 26 percent

• Net sales of Encapsys were up 33.7 percent and shipments were up approximately 60 percent
