Boston-based Arthur Blank & Company recently introduced the DualCard, a multifunctional, double card set that combines joint marketing programs and multi-application campaigns in one product.
"The card marketing industry is growing to the point where many functions, such as loyalty and couponing, or gift card and hospitality programs, are beginning to naturally overlap," said Eric Blank, executive vice president. "The DualCard, which offers two standard credit card-sized cards on a single break-apart sheet, is the first of its kind and gives companies the flexibility of designing multi-use programs."
The DualCard allows retailers more flexibility with their card marketing programs, and it is ideal for many joint programs, including promotions between two retailers, such as a bookstore and coffee chain with a combination gift, loyalty or coupon program, and membership cards that carry identical duplicate cards, as well as two related cards that carry unique identification numbers for the card holder and a family member.
