ASB Hires President of Operations

Glenwood, Minnesota-based American Solutions for Business (ASB) welcomed Alan Grundei as president of operations. In this role, Grundei is responsible for ensuring that all operations of the company meet the needs of the sales associates and home office staff. ASB Founder Larry Zavadil will continue as chairman of the board and president of sales, concentrating his efforts on sales associate needs and opportunities. Both will report directly to the Board. Grundei brings 30 years of experience in senior management/operations to ASB, having most recently served as the president and CEO of Healthland (formerly Dairyland Healthcare Solutions). Healthland, a leading healthcare information system provider, became the number one vendor to community hospitals under his leadership. Prior to that affiliation, Grundei held several senior management positions at McQuay International, the second largest commercial air conditioning, heating, ventilating and refrigeration company in the world. While working for McQuay, he led the implementation of a company-wide Oracle ERP system.
