Bindery Company Takes Power of Print Award
On May 5th, more than 400 printing industry representatives gathered at the Bellevue Hotel in Philadelphia to celebrate Neographics 2005. During the event--dubbed Cinco de Neo because it coincided with the Mexican holiday--the coveted 2005 Power of Print Award was proudly presented to 135-year-old, Philadelphia-based Oxford Bookbinding Company, for its bound brochure entitled "Stages/The Academy of Music."
Neographics is one of the nation's largest regional print competitions, in which graphic arts, packaging, converting, design and publishing excellence are selected and showcased.
Typically, the winner at Neographics is a printing company, so it was unique for a bookbinding company to be awarded the prize. "We are a full-service finishing company, and we are committed to high standards in dealing with our customers," said Stewart Gritz, Oxford's president. "We strive to offer the widest array of finishing capabilities in the region."
