Corporate Development Associates Adds Label and Packaging Industry Veteran to Its Roster
Corporate Development Associates (CDA) has announced the addition of label and pharma packaging industry veteran Dave Emmert to its deal-making team as an associate.
Emmert has worked for some of the leading companies in this segment of the printing industry, including R.R. Donnelley and Thomas Packaging. He began his career in the printing industry in 1979 with Kalamazoo Label, which, at the time, was the second oldest label company in the U.S., but prior to that was on active duty with U.S. Army Special Forces Ops (heavy weapons and Intelligence) from 1973-1976.
“We are delighted to announce the addition of Dave as an associate to our deal-making team,” said Jim Anderson, CDA’s founder and president. “Together, we felt that the label and packaging side of the industry was not currently being properly served by M&A advisory firms, and that segment is huge. I fully expect Dave will in short order be a great dealmaker and bring not only a fresh look to CDA, but add his absolutely incredible knowledge and base of contacts.”
"I am pleased to enter into this new relationship with CDA as Jim is a veteran and respected dealmaker who has a track record of success in the printing industry," said Emmert. "Jim not only has the experience and talent, but many long-standing personal relationships with print industry principals particularly within the forms and label segments of our industry, which is my area of expertise. My affiliation with CDA should give my new deal-making future a great kick-start."
