Discount Labels Expands Customized Label Printing Capabilities

Discount Labels, New Albany, Ind., recently purchased and installed a new HP Indigo 6800 digital press. The addition of the new press has expanded the digital offering of Discount Labels, bringing the total to seven digital presses.

The HP 6800 digital press can print custom labels at a maximum efficiency with superior quality. This label printing press has color automation that eliminates manual color calibrations and adjustments. Operators can create color profiles and match colors up to 75 percent faster compared with current processes.

“The addition of the new HP press signifies our ongoing commitment to providing top quality labels to our customers, with quick turnaround times,” said Mike Gore, vice president operations. “We are pleased to be able to expand or digital offering and give our customers even more options when selling labels.”

Discount Labels has more than 70 custom printing presses with a wide range of capabilities. The addition of the new press allows for even more label printing production at a quick turnaround.
