Discount Labels Launches Superhero Sidekick Campaign
Discount Labels, New Albany, Ind., has launched a Superhero Sidekick campaign to reinforce its positioning as a trusted partner to its national network of print and promotional distributors. The campaign launch coincides with National Superhero Day on April 28 and features an entire toolkit of new marketing materials, promotions and superhero sample labels.
“Our customers are superheroes and they consider flat sales a crime,” Brian Webb, national accounts manager, said, borrowing from the company’s newest marketing brochure. “We want to be the sidekick offering custom label printing capabilities and the ‘oomph!’ our customers need to drive sales growth.”
The company is using the Superhero campaign to build awareness of the company’s comprehensive printing and finishing platform, and its ability to play the covert “sidekick” to secure new label business. Those capabilities include:
- ESKO Automation Engine and Color Management System
- Digital printing and digital durable printing
- 11-color flexographic printing
- Vision inspection systems
- Variable text and image labels
- Short-run durable labels
- UL labels
- Extended content labels
