Ennis Announces Promotion

Headquartered in Midlothian, Texas, Ennis has promoted Mark Boore to the position of general manager of its Ft. Scott, Kan. facility. In 1998, Boore joined Ennis as a press operator and quickly was promoted to plant superintendent. He previously worked as a press operator for 15 years at FMI in Girard, Kan.

Boore replaced Steve Kelso, who retired from the company after 46 years of service.

Kelso had served as general manager of Ennis – Ft. Scott for the last 10 years. He was promoted several times through the ranks of the plant to positions including plant manager, plant superintendent, factory supervisor and press operator before he was named general manager.
