Ennis Divisions Appoint General Managers

Midlothian, Texas-based Ennis named Carl Weaver general manager of Block Graphics’s Portland, Ore. facility.

Since Ennis acquired Block Graphics in 2006, Weaver had been serving as the Portland facility’s envelope plant manager. Previously, the 27-year industry veteran spent 18 years at Block Graphics in various positions, such as production coordinator, plant manager and V.P. of manufacturing.

In addition, Ennis welcomed Paul Gray as general manager of its Trade Envelopes division, Carol Stream, Ill.

Prior to this role, Gray worked as a private consultant, focusing on productivity improvements, waste reduction and safety outside of the printing industry. He also held leadership positions at Wisco Envelope and PrintXcel, including VP of operations, general manager, operations manager and sales manager.
