The Fastest-growing Print and Promotional Products Companies on the 2016 Inc. 5000
Last week, Inc. Magazine published its prestigious Inc. 5000 list of the country’s fastest-growing companies. As in years past, the list included a wide variety of print and promotional products companies—14 of which are part of the Proforma franchise.
The Inc. 5000 list ranks U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit companies based on their percentage of revenue growth over a three-year period. Only businesses with a minimum of $100,000 in sales by March 31, 2012 and $2 million in 2015 were eligible. The top-ranked company on the list, Loot Crate, earned $116.2 million in revenue for 2015 and, more importantly, had a three-year growth of 66,789 percent. Established in 2012, Loot Crate sends a monthly themed mystery box of items (e.g., gadgets, art, apparel and gear) to more than 600,000 subscribers, with the hope of fostering the kind of “geek community” found at Comic Con and similar events.

"I grew my sales from $470,000 in 2012 to more than $2.5 million in 2015,” Bruce Irvine, owner of Proforma Irvine Group in Smyrna, Ga. and Multi-Million Dollar Club Member, said in a press release. “My sales were plateaued and I knew I needed a new strategy if I wanted to achieve a new level of success. I decided to fully utilize the business development resources that Proforma offers and it changed my life. By engaging Proforma’s Mergers & Acquisitions Program to start buying out my competition, I more than quadrupled my sales in less than three years. Proforma helped make my dream of entering the Multi-Million Dollar Club a reality.”
