Harwood Heights, Illinois-based FCL Graphics Incorporated, a leading printer of marketing and direct mail materials, announced its latest investment in a newly installed high-speed Heidelberg stitching line with six model TAS signature feeders with the Optigraf signature recognition system. The line includes a UFA coverfeeder, five stitching heads, one three knife trimmer with 4th and 5th knife attachments for 2-up product and a Rima counter stacker.
This latest investment comes on the heels of a series of investments made in 2011 to increase both capacity and services. These earlier investments include two fully automatic Muller Martini saddle stitch binders, a newly introduced high speed Xerox Color 1000 digital press for high speed production of personalized and digitally printed marketing pieces, and an MCS 600 Array inkjet mailer providing up to 6 inches of inkjet printing at speeds of up to 36,000 pages per hour.
“We continue our strategic investments to support our company vision to be viewed as the best in class, and the company of choice, in the eyes of our customers, by continuously exploring and innovating to deliver customer value and customer solutions faster, better and more sustainably than our competition,” said Michael Ford, president and CEO of FCL Graphics. “Our customers look to us to make the investments required to provide the latest innovations to help them create effective communication pieces and to generate greater return on investment from their marketing and communication materials.”
