Forbes Names Canon U.S.A. One of ‘America’s Best Employers’ for the Second Year
Canon U.S.A., a leader in digital imaging solutions based in Melville, N.Y., has been named to the Forbes “America’s Best Employers” list for another year. The company placed among the top 250 employers in the mid-size category, based on the results of a survey of more than 30,000 professionals*.
“It is an exciting time to be a part of the Canon family—not only because Canon is a world-class and highly respected company—but because it is a time of business transformation,” said Joe Warren, executive vice president and general manager, corporate human resources, Canon U.S.A. “Our employees’ commitment to Canon’s values of mutual respect, integrity, fairness and communication has been instrumental in driving innovation and upholding our legacy of excellence.”
The Forbes ranking was conducted from an online survey of 30,000 American workers at mid-size and large U.S. companies, nonprofit institutions such as hospitals, government agencies and U.S. divisions of multinationals, where they were asked their opinions on their employers and others in their industry. From that pool, the top 250 mid-size companies made the list and were placed into 27 industry categories, including retail and wholesale, education, and banking and financial services.
