Forbes Names Canon U.S.A. One of ‘America’s Best Employers’ for the Second Year

Canon U.S.A., a leader in digital imaging solutions based in Melville, N.Y., has been named to the Forbes “America’s Best Employers” list for another year. The company placed among the top 250 employers in the mid-size category, based on the results of a survey of more than 30,000 professionals*.

Forbes’ Methodology
The Forbes ranking was conducted from an online survey of 30,000 American workers at mid-size and large U.S. companies, nonprofit institutions such as hospitals, government agencies and U.S. divisions of multinationals, where they were asked their opinions on their employers and others in their industry. From that pool, the top 250 mid-size companies made the list and were placed into 27 industry categories, including retail and wholesale, education, and banking and financial services.

*More than 30,000 employees at U.S. companies with at least 2,500 people were surveyed for the America’s Best Employers List. The survey was conducted with global digital data collection partners who use technology and sampling methodologies to facilitate a deep understanding of consumer opinions and behavior. Participation in the survey was voluntary, and respondents were recruited from thousands of sources to maximize reach and representation. The mix of respondents (gender, age, region, educational level and ethnicity) in the sample represents American employees.
