Direct mail producer Freedom Graphic Systems, Milton, Wis., recently ordered two new Xerox iGen3 110 digital production presses, adding to the two presses it installed six months ago. The digital presses will support Freedom Graphic Systems’ rapidly expanding direct mail business, particularly the demand for one-to-one marketing campaigns conducted by the retail and financial industries.
The company anticipates personalized print volumes in excess of 3 billion impressions in 2007 on its continuous feed, offset and Xerox iGen3 presses, with digital color from the Xerox iGen3 being the catalyst for higher value one-to-one campaigns. The two new digital presses are expected to be installed later this year.
“Our expansion into digital color has helped grow our offset business,” said Marty Liebert, president. “The full capabilities of digital, combined with our established offset client base, have allowed us to expand our one-stop-shop for customers seeking a complete direct marketing campaign—from creative concept through targeted personalization, production and fulfillment.”
Freedom Graphic Systems also chose the Xerox iGen3 presses because they enabled the company to upgrade its overall print workflow by adding Web-to-print services, allowing customers to place and track orders via the Internet, while enabling Freedom Graphic Systems to broaden its customer base regardless of geography.
