GBS Brand Connect Acquires Amplify Marketing

GBS Brand Connect, Canton, Ohio, has acquired Amplify Marketing, Birmingham, Alabama.
Nadav Raviv, CEO of Amplify Marketing, anticipated the business-model change at the onset of the pandemic. At that juncture, in March 2020, Raviv determined that in order to focus on the PPE shift, he would separate from his former distributorship. After two years of successful and rapid growth, he saw the need for swift scalability. GBS was the perfect landing place.
The transition was seamless. Beginning with GBS’ managing of Amplify’s e-commerce clients, the synergy was felt by both parties immediately. In addition, having Raviv’s former boss and mentor, Jeff Grippando, at the forefront of the GBS/Amplify relationship led the transition to a smooth full integration. The tip of the spear for the merger included GBS’s strong inside support system, coupled with its 110,000-square-foot warehouse facility housing complete kitting and fulfillment capabilities. The metal that forged that spear derived from Grippando’s and Raviv’s strong friendship, their desire for success and their shared “client-first” mentality.
“Jeff has been my mentor and friend for 5-plus years,” said Raviv. “He instilled in me the passion which created my drive for this work, all the while sharing his unmatched knowledge and skills of the promo industry. I like to refer to our relationship, especially in our meetings, as thunder and lightning. I am honored and thrilled to be back working with Jeff, championed by the power of a fantastic organization that is GBS.”
“Nadav’s passion to continually learn and advance his craft will prove to be the foundation that I begin to build a footprint in the Southeast,” Grippando said. “Coupled with our full-scale ad agency based in Norcross, Georgia, and Nadav’s client base across the Southeast, GBS Brand Connect now has the platform for success to move our business growth south.”
