GPA Introduces New 2008 Digital Catalog

Chicago-based GPA Specialty Substrate Solutions released its new Ultra Digital catalog, featuring a vast collection of stocks for HP Indigo digital presses.

The catalog is packed with new and innovative substrates at nearly double the size of the previous version. The selection consists of coated and uncoated papers, specialty fine papers, pressure-sensitive papers and films, non-adhesive films and FSC-certified eco-friendly substrates. Highlights include FSC-certified Ultra Digital papers with 100 percent recycled content, Ultra Print economy coated papers and Ultra Digital Pearl shimmering pearlescent papers. Other unique additions to the new catalog are pre-converted direct mail substrates, lay-flat photo pages with FlexBind and a two-pocket folder kit.

Ultra Digital die-cut labels in various shapes for a variety of applications have been added to the pressure-sensitive papers line, while the Ultra Digital Films section offers window cling vinyl bearing RIT certification.

Additional bonuses to the new catalog are the listing of GSM and caliper for all products, along with the inclusion of GPA’s Print Trial Process (PTP), an evaluation tool created to help customers achieve optimum performance from each substrate. Standard information such as sheet size, sheets per carton, carton weight and pricing are included, as well.
