GPM Names New Client Support Services Manager
Doug Parks has been named manager of client support services for the Government Print Management division of e-LYNXX Corporation. Government Print Management offers U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO) bid services and strategies to printers nationwide.
"Doug has established himself as a highly respected expert in the government print market and is called upon daily to assist printers as they seek to win profitable work from the GPO," said Deborah Snider, senior vice president of e-LYNXX and president of the Government Print Management division.. "His depth of knowledge about how to work within the government structure provides enormous benefit to our clients."
Parks is responsible for support services that include properly registering clients as print suppliers with the GPO, initial client training, ongoing reactive support, bid submissions, payment resolution, job data compilation, and evaluation of data of activities to improve client success in the GPO market.
Parks was named a client services specialist in 2008. He joined e-LYNXX in 1994 after having been a production manager and customer service manager at Tab Books and director of purchasing for McGraw-Hill, Inc. He began his career in the print industry in 1970.
He has served as vice president and president of the National Association of Purchasing Managers, Western Maryland Chapter. In the community, Parks has served on the boards of directors of the Waynesboro YMCA and the Waynesboro Family History Center.
