Graphic Dimensions Acquires Certain Assets of Speedflo Business Forms of Lexington, Kentucky
Graphic Dimensions Inc. (GDI), a Top 50 Supplier based in Austell, Ga., has acquired certain assets of SpeedFlo Business Forms of Lexington, Kentucky, effective Dec. 7.
All SpeedFlo order and composition files have been installed in GDI’s facilities, and some equipment will be moved to those facilities after Dec. 18 when SpeedFlo ceases production of in-house orders.
GDI, founded in 1994, is a full-service, trade-only manufacturer with facilities in Erlanger, Ky., Atlanta and Peterborough, N.H. It also operates New Dimension Labels, a wholesale custom digital and flexographic label provider based just outside of Atlanta.
In addition to a seamless transition of orders and full access to SpeedFlo’s product line, SpeedFlo’s clients now have a trusted source for long-run cut sheets, custom checks and CheckMate, GDI’s high-security custom and software-compatible line of imprinted checks that can be shipped same-day. Organizations of all sizes need a wide variety of document and label products, and the GDI team prides itself on understanding their needs and serving as a resource that listens, educates and delivers.
“SpeedFlo has been a formidable competitor and an excellent supplier over the past 43 years, and we’ve always viewed them with great respect,” said Jay Scammell, president and CEO of GDI. “I am very thankful to Harry and Doug Kruger and the entire SpeedFlo team for making this acquisition possible. We are pleased to welcome SpeedFlo and its customers to our company.”
GDI’s transaction doesn’t involve Phoenix-based Speedflo LLC, owned by a different company in the print industry.
