Bedford, New Hampshire-based Hampshire Label, a division of New Jersey Business Forms, has purchased a Durst Tau 330E digital label and packaging printer.
The Tau digital press is a further expansion of Hampshire Label’s label and packaging capabilities, following installation of a Mark Andy P5 10-color flexographic press last February.
Hampshire Label is co-owned, along with New Jersey Business Forms and InfoSeal, by David Harnett and Andrew Harnett. The Tau Press and the Mark Andy P5 are installed in their Englewood, N.J. facility.
“The Tau gave us a lower cost entry into full digital production of labels and packaging,” said David Harnett. “It is a perfect short-run compliment to our 17” wide Mark Andy flexo press. The ability to print on a wide range of films, label stocks and up to 18pt. packaging weight stocks really expands our product offerings.”
