ID Label Acquires Universal Label Technologies

Headquartered in Lake Villa, Ill., ID Label signed a letter of intent to purchase the assets of Universal Label Technologies (ULT). Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

"ULT has been a leader in the variable image, barcode label manufacturing niche since it was founded in 2001. We look forward to building on the foundation that ULT has provided its partners for the past eight years, and extending the product offering to help [the company] grow [its] business under the ID Label banner," said Neil Johnston, president of ID Label.
