KBA North America Names New Project Manager

KBA North America, a global press manufacturer based in Dallas, Texas, has named George Drew as its new project manager for North America.

Drew will be managing a knowledgeable team to oversee entire sheetfed press installations at KBA customer sites. His position is to ensure that the customer's entire site-encompassing electrical, mechanical, and building---is prepped for a smooth and efficient start-up to maximize press productivity and streamline the process.

Drew entered the printing industry in 1985 and brings with him over 25 years of extensive graphic arts experience in equipment sales and service. For the past four years, he has held the position of project manager for another press manufacturer, in which he conducted pre-installation meetings with new and existing customers to outline equipment installations, provided customer-subcontractor interface for installation services, press performance evaluations, plant workflow, and installation budget and time-line management.

His previous positions have included field service manager, district sales manager, and operations manager in Maine, New York, and Illinois. Currently, Drew lives in Dallas; he is married with two children.
