Labelmate Introduces New Heavy-Duty Label Dispenser

Headquartered in Henderson, Nev., Labelmate recently introduced the Model LD-100RS-SS Automatic Label Dispenser, believed to be the first unit of its kind made from durable stainless-steel specifically for food packaging and pharmaceutical applications. As a label is picked from the dispenser, the next label is automatically advanced. The modern, ergonomic design presents the label at the front of the machine, providing optimum convenience for both left- and right-handed operators.

The sleek unit is easy to use, rust-proof and easy to keep clean. The core holder accepts label rolls up to 8-1/2˝. Thread the label web onto the take-up spindle and the LD-100RS-SS is ready for use with labels from 1/2˝ to 8˝ long.

According to Terry Zimmerman, president, the LD-100RS-SS Automatic Label Dispenser was created to answer the special labeling and sanitary needs of the food and pharmaceutical industries. The cover is sealed to prevent liquids or other materials from entering the unit.

The dispenser can be simply set-in-place or it can be bolted to the work surface. There are no mechanical switches to cause adjustment or operational problems. The dispenser requires no maintenance and is backed by Labelmate's three-year parts and limited labor warranty.
