MAR Graphics Expands Imaging Capacity

MAR Graphics, Valmeyer, Ill., has added an additional Xerox Nuvera 314 Perfecting Production System to its fleet of digital print devices.

MAR Graphics uses the sheetfed black-and-white imaging system to produce a wide variety of mail, transpromo and other print projects. The system is configured as a twin-engine device for faster throughput of duplex imaged pieces. It features the ability to image coated and uncoated sheets as well as larger sheet sizes.

“This additional device is a good complement to our already-existing fleet of black-and-white and color print engines,” said Scott Roever, vice president of digital print operations and part-owner of MAR Graphics. “Since we already have a couple of Xerox devices similar to this new box, the learning curve is very easy for us. I expect this unit to really help with delivery time flexibility for our clients.”

In addition, MAR Graphics operates UV half-web presses from six to 10 colors, several UV forms web presses, flexo print and ink-jet systems, multiple color and black-and-white digital print systems, web-finishing lines and a full-service lettershop.
