Mohawk's Thomas D. O’Connor III Appointed to Printing Industries Alliance Board of Directors
Mohawk, Cohoes, N.Y., announced that Thomas D. O'Connor III, manager, digital substrate sales, has been appointed to the Printing Industries Alliance (PIA) board of directors.
The Printing Industries Alliance is a trade association serving the $14 billion graphic communications industry in New York state, northern New Jersey and northwest Pennsylvania. The Alliance is committed to promoting the value of graphic communications and increasing the profitability of its membership. In partnership with The Printing Industries of America, the Alliance provides a broad range of services, benefits and support to the graphic communications industry related to sales, production, finance, human resources, regulatory issues and information technology.
"I'm honored to join the Printing Industries Alliance board of directors, and I look forward to serving the association's members in the print communications industry as we actively create new opportunities to celebrate the heritage and future of print," said O'Connor.
The PIA Board of Directors has 27 members representing printers and leaders in the graphic communications industry from across the Northeast. O'Connor was nominated in June, and has been appointed for a three-year term.

In addition to his role on the PIA board of directors, O'Connor also serves on the board of directors for St. Gregory's School, Loudonville, N.Y. He is a graduate of Bates College, Lewiston, Maine. O'Connor currently resides in Boston with his wife Avery.
