The newest multimillion-dollar distributor to join Proforma's member network is an NBA Hall of Famer, who spent a combined 14 years on the Detroit Pistons and Milwaukee Bucks.
Bob Lanier, the 1970 No. 1 NBA draft pick, entered the Hall of Fame in 1992, but first entered the promotional products business with Bob Lanier Enterprises in 1984 after retiring from the NBA. His company recently joined the Cleveland-based company's network to further expand its product and service offerings and utilize its business development tools.
“We know what it takes to build a winning team, and that is why we decided to partner with Proforma,” Lanier said. “With Proforma, we have access to a wealth of marketing programs, sales tools and major account support unlike any other distributor in our industry. As a part of the Proforma network, it will be much easier to differentiate ourselves in the market.”
Bob Lanier Enterprises, which has locations in Milwaukee and Detroit, specializes in developing and managing premium promotional programs and comprehensive marketing campaigns. With Proforma, Lanier plans to further expand the company’s e-commerce, digital marketing and commercial print offerings.
“We are honored that Bob and his team recognized the proven tools we have in place at Proforma to help our multimillion-dollar owners continue to achieved significant growth,” said Greg Muzzillo, founder of Proforma. “Bob Lanier Enterprises was built on hard work, and we are proud to be a part of their team to give them the resources to make it easier than ever to achieve their sales goals.”
With a team of four sales representatives, Lanier's organization has more than $3 million in annual sales.
“Proforma leads the industry in the amount of support and services it provides to its network,” said Lanier. “We are excited that Proforma will give us freedom from back office work so we can focus on growing our business and immediately increasing our sales.”
