Nekoosa Coated Products Introduces Industry’s First Pre-Magnetized Substrate for HP Indigo

Nekoosa, Wisconsin-based Nekoosa Coated Products introduced MagneCote® iSeries, a pre-magnetized RIT certified® sheet for HP Indigo® presses. A “white sensor strip” on the backside of each sheet satisfies sensors in the press to prevent feeding issues. It is the first pre-magnetized sheet certified for this machine.

“We recognized a market need for a pre-magnetized media option for the HP Indigo® platform. Magnets maximize ROI so we are excited to provide this solution,” said Paul Charapata, president of Nekoosa Coated Products. “Awareness for magnetic applications is growing, and now these printers can compete in this market—quick turnaround, short run and personalized magnets.”

The MagneCote® iSeries is the latest addition to Nekoosa Coated Products’ portfolio of RIT® certified HP Indigo® products. This portfolio includes carbonless papers, synthetic substrates, pressure sensitive films and pre-magnetized sheets. Nekoosa Coated Products offers two other magnetic sheets: MagneCote® for offset printing and Digital MagneCote® for dry toner/laser printing.
