Prime UV To Display Four New Products in Miami
At the Graphics of the Americas show later this month, Prime UV Systems, Carol Stream, Ill., will introduce four new products: a MiniScan 3C for Narrow Web Converters, a Sheetfed UV Coating System, an Easy Scan Portable UV Lamp System and Maximum Speed UV Dryers for Preprint Linerboard and Multi-Wall Bags.
1. The Prime UV MiniScan 3C features an easy-to-install interstation on all new or existing narrow web and label presses, including Aquaflex, PCMC, Propheteer, Mark Andy, Comco and Allied Gear. It offers high-speed curing of UV abrasion-resistant, chemical-resistant inks and coatings. Its high-power air cooling provides an effective low-heat cure, which results in maximum airflow and low substrate temperatures.
2. Prime UV's Sheetfed Coating System is an inexpensive way for sheetfed printers to easily apply and cure UV coatings in-house. With this all-in-one system, which includes a Sheet Feeder, UV Sheetfed Coater, Sheet Transport Conveyor, Optimum Air-Cooled Prime UV Lamp and Sheet Stacker, sheetfed printers can apply UV coatings over water, solvent-based or UV inks.
3. With its built-in wheels, the Prime UV Easy Scan processor easily moves throughout the plant—increasing production speeds. It can be installed on any processing line to cure high-gloss UV coatings, inks and adhesives, and includes the state-of-the-art Prime UV Elite Operator Interface.
4. Featuring the latest technology in computer-controlled, air-cooled UV lamp systems, the Prime UV Maximum Speed Dryer is contained within Prime's light-shielding housing, which is designed specifically for the rigorous needs of the converting and packaging industries. The Prime UV Wide Web Processor can either be retrofitted to existing web presses or installed on new presses. Complete installation, pressroom training and service support is available to the packaging converter.
Prime UV will be at Booth 940 at Graphics of the Americas, which runs January 23-25 at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
