Looking ahead to the new year, Casey Campbell, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Peachtree City, Georgia-based Printegra, offered some insights and expectations concerning how the company’s product line will fare in an ever-changing marketplace. Below are comments he shared with Print Professional:
Printegra forecasts growth in our cut-sheet check and form product lines, as well as our commercial print shop products. We look for continuous products to [persist in their] decline and flatten out, while value-added cut sheets continue to show growth. Value-added cut sheet products consist of document security products, integrated form cards and form labels and pressure-seal mailers. Our Print Shop products continue to develop as strong resource[s] for distributors who want to outsource quick print-type work to a proven wholesale document provider.
We are constantly evaluating new products and upgrades to current product lines for our distributors to offer to their clients. In 2008, we will also work to educate customers on all the products that our affiliated group of wholesale companies—Dealer Label, Discount Label, Lancer Label, Synergy Label, Rx Technology, National Imprint, WISCO Envelope and PrintXcel—can provide.
We look forward to continu[ing] to make steady headway in becoming interoperable with many customers’ eCommerce procurement engines and order management systems. Becoming interoperable allows us to electronically exchange crucial order data (P.O, order acknowledgement, ship notice, invoice) with our customers. This helps drive down the cost of a transaction for our distributor customers, and provides better service to the end consumer.
