Print+Promo Distributor Connect – Scottsdale Met with Resounding Success
Print+Promo, the leading source of business strategies for the distributor sales professional, recently concluded its final Distributor Connect of 2015. The event, which pairs top-selling distributors with leading print and promotional product suppliers for one-on-one, 20-minute, pre-scheduled meetings held in private supplier suites, took place at Scottsdale Marriott Suites Old Town in Scottsdale, Ariz.
For three days, more than 70 industry professionals participated in engaging conversation intended to cultivate business relationships. In addition to a Welcome Reception on the hotel’s patio, attendees were given opportunities to network during complimentary breakfast and lunch sessions. The first full day of meetings was capped off with a private dinner at The Clayton on the Park.
Suppliers are still buzzing with excitement. “Distributor Connect is the most efficient and effective way of getting distributors together with manufacturers to educate, partner and create future selling opportunities,” said Rick Reese, midwest regional sales manager, Highland Computer Forms Inc., Hillsboro, Ohio.
Distributor attendees were happy with the event as well. “The Print+Promo Distributor Connect format was unique and exceptionally productive,” said Bob Myhren, president, Abacus Business Products Inc., Colorado Springs, Colo. “Through the interactive format, I was introduced to new suppliers and product offerings from our current suppliers that can make us more competitive in the marketplace.”
Bob Kenehan, president, dbp | chicago, Chicago, shared this sentiment: “The Distributor Connect event in Scottsdale was a terrific way to meet vendors in depth and was a great use of time to gain ideas for our clients,” he said.
Myhren and Kenehan were not the only attendees who had a worthwhile experience. “Print+Promo Distributor Connect is a powerful method to interact and learn about potential new suppliers,” said Jim Howard, chief operating officer, JP Business Solutions, Scottsdale, Ariz. “[It’s] a dynamic process that can increase sales and build on my base of strategic suppliers that increases my competitive advantage. I have shared this with my sales team and believe we have already identified a new, unique opportunity. Fantastic!”
Print+Promo Publisher Jim Harvie couldn’t have asked for a better way to end the year. “Our latest Distributor Connect event was another success,” said Harvie. “Both the suppliers, who sponsored the event, and the distributors, who attended, all agreed that this format just works, making the time spent away from their offices and their sales territories worth it. If both the suppliers and the distributors find the event of value, then that is really all you can ask for.”
Reservations are now open for 2016 events. Past event photos and testimonials can be viewed at Print+Promo’s Distributor Connect website. Limited spaces are still available for qualified distributors. If interested in attending, contact Mike Cooper at mcooper@napco.com or (215) 238-5434.
