Pro Towels, Pittsburgh, announced that Chuck Lang has joined the company as chief financial officer. Lang will oversee the finance, accounting and business development functions for Pro Towels, Kanata Blanket Company and Superior.
Prior to joining the team, Lang was CFO for RYO Machine LLC and its affiliated companies. Lang was instrumental in developing their systems and processes and new business development. In addition, he partnered with operations to improve the supply chain and product margins. The company and its success and growth have been featured in the Wall Street Journal and NPR. “I believe Chuck’s addition to the finance department will help take the company where we want to go as we continue to grow and evolve," said Kevin Nord, president of the Pro Towels family. "Having Chuck involved in the upcoming changes will help us continue to be one of the leaders in the industry.”
His prior experience includes a variety of finance and accounting leadership roles in NYSE companies. Prior to RYO, he held the director of finance and treasurer roles for one of the largest sign companies in North America. His experience also includes strategic planning, division finance lead, risk management and controller positions. Lang holds a master’s degree in business from the J.L. Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern University, with concentrations that include marketing, finance and management policy. He also has obtained a bachelor’s of science degree from Miami University (Ohio) with concentrations in accounting, finance and economics. In addition, he has achieved the CPA and CTP certifications. “I am excited to join a growing company that is the leader in its categories," Lang states.
