Two Proforma affiliate owners, Bethany Brevard and Brandon Kennedy, have joined forces to land a three-year, $12 million contract with a Fortune 500 technology company.
Brevard, co-owner of Austin, Texas-based Proforma Professional Business Solutions, and Kennedy, owner of Bakersfield, California-based Proforma Progressive Marketing, will be managing the inventory, fulfillment and workflow processes for the company’s print and promotional product needs. Proforma’s e-commerce capabilities and technology resources will help the client streamline processes, reduce costs and strengthen brand consistency, the partners said.
According to a press release, the deal was secured as a result of a collaborative, year-long effort among Proforma’s North American Major Accounts Team, ProStores Technology Team, strategic advisors and owners. Regular account strategy assistance, proposal development and presentation planning between the client, owners and Proforma Support Center were a few examples of the support offered.
“We are grateful for the opportunity to work with a high-profile client on providing custom marketing and e-commerce solutions through Proforma’s ProStores platform,” Brevard commented. “By partnering with Brandon Kennedy and the Proforma Support Center team, we were able to pursue this account and tailor our strategy to the client’s needs—we couldn’t have done it without them.”
A major influencer in winning the eight-figure contract was the ProStores Technology Team’s design of a custom demo site utilizing the ProStores platform, a proprietary online storefront developed exclusively for Proforma owners to provide “high-end product options and advanced solutions” to clients. When it initially introduced the technology in 2016, the distributorship’s goal was to provide business-to-business and business-to-consumer end-users with a “streamlined, Amazon-like experience for online purchases.”
“This was for sure a team effort by the entire staff at the Proforma Support Center, Major Accounts Team, strategic advisors and the ProStores Technology Team,” said Kennedy. “We are fortunate to have such an amazing group of people helping us land these types of deals.”
Greg Muzzillo, founder of Proforma, which secured the No. 2 spot on Print+Promo’s 2018 Top 50 Distributors list with $492 million in annual sales, called Brevard and Kennedy a “true inspiration” to the entire Proforma family.
