Promo Marketing Launches 2015 Power Meeting Series

Last week, Promo Marketing, the sister publication of Print+Promo, kicked off its 2015 Power Meeting campaign when 49 top-performing distributors and 45 supplier companies met at the luxurious Old Town Marriott Suites in Scottsdale, Ariz. The flagship venue did not disappoint, and the latest pool of attendees proved to be a strong group, fostering new business relationships and producing sales orders less than a week after the event's conclusion.

"What great productive meetings," said Michael Spranger of Promotional Edge. "I have already sold one of the ideas/products."

Connecting the industry's top suppliers and distributors is a strong contributing factor to the continued success of the Power Meeting brand, now in its fourth year. But it's not the only factor. Meghan DeFrancesco, vice president/publisher/brand director for Promo Marketing, believes it is the attendees and the format that differentiate Power Meetings from other industry events.

"The relationship-building format features one-on-one sessions held in exclusive supplier suites offering the opportunity to discuss partnerships on upcoming projects and unique sales ideas to serve each distributors unique client base," said DeFrancesco. "You just cannot get that type of personalized and focused time with industry leaders anywhere else. This format truly enhances partnerships and increases sales opportunities."

• Newport Beach, Aug. 31-Sept. 3
• Washington, D.C., Oct. 5-8
