Real estate—two words that stir up bad memories. It's been five years since the bubble burst, causing property values and housing sales to plummet. While the market isn't particularly booming, Forbes predicts that 2013 will continue the trend of steady, if modest, recovery.
In the meantime, the role of realtor has gotten tougher. In addition to finding properties and providing homebuyers with analysis, advice and expertise, realtors must now market themselves like crazy. That's a lot of extra work, but real-estate-themed promotions don't have to be fixer-uppers—you just need a little planning and research.
