This year's State of the Industry explores trends from the 1980s through today to help our readership identify these areas of growth and decline. Direct from BFL&S's statistics, sales of forms, labels and tags continue to decline, collectively down nearly 10 percent from 2004. Areas
of growth are in plastic and promotional products, as well as direct mail. From talking with many industry professionals, this is a wave expected to continue through 2006 and beyond.
