Headquartered in Loveland, Ohio, The Sustainable Green Printing Partnership announced that it has certified two locations of Jet, Bolingbrook and Downers Grove, Ill., as SGP Printers, bringing the total number to 16 certified facilities.
When asked about this accomplishment, Jet president Jeff Norby shared, “... We believe strongly in doing the right thing as a corporate citizen for our clients, our employees and our environment. Our values and strategic plans include sustainability in everything we do, and this certification solidifies and recognizes our continued efforts toward these goals. I am proud of our team and abilities to bring the best in card solutions to the industry while being the first card manufacturer to receive this high honor for sustainability.”
Printing facilities located in the United States and Canada are eligible to apply for certification with the SGP Partnership. To become a certified SGP Printer, a facility must demonstrate conformance with criteria that require a holistic approach to sustainability and must pass an onsite audit. Certified printers are assigned a certification number and logo for use on their printed products to indicate it was “Printed by a SGP Printer.”
The SGP Partnership is an independent, nonprofit certification organization.
