Shawmut Announces Expansion
In an effort to accommodate their growing sales force and new cross-media department, Shawmut announced the expansion of their Danvers office.
Doubling in size from 4,000 sq. ft. to 8,000 sq. ft., company executives made the decision to increase the office space in order to meet the rising needs of clients. The expansion also means changes for Shawmut's fulfillment center in Chelsea. In addition to the current warehouse, Danvers will now house 15,000 sq. ft. of fulfillment space.
"It's been five years since we relocated our main office from Chelsea to Danvers, and pretty incredible to think our hard work and successes are requiring us to expand in such a short time," said Dom Peluso, Shawmut President. "Customer service is and always has been one of our top priorities, and the additional space will allow us to continue serving our clients to the best of our ability."
In recent years Shawmut has made a conscious decision to shift from the role of a traditional printer to a full-service cross-media services provider. In this capacity, Shawmut offers clients a wide-range of capabilities that integrate technology and print. Insofar, this year Shawmut launched a subsidiary company, u-connect, offering clients different packages to implement lead generation, loyalty, giving, trade show and custom marketing programs.
"We've been more than just a printer for years, assisting our clients with the implementation of various cross-media solutions to meet their internal marketing needs and sales goals," said Mike Peluso, Shawmut Vice-President and u-connect President. "Based on our experience at Shawmut, we believe u-connect can provide the appropriate support and solutions needed to create successful marketing campaigns."
