Standard Register Co., Dayton, Ohio, recently sold an industrial building and land to Hanna’s Candle Co., located in Fayetteville, Ark.
The $2.05 million transaction included a 146,000 square foot building and 35.4 acres of land, according to Arkansas Business Online. Hanna’s Candle Co.’s chief financial officer, Thad Hanna, told the news outlet that the company plans to relocate operations to the new location in a few years.
Last June, a Delaware bankruptcy judge approved Mankato, Minnesota-based Taylor Corp.’s $307 million purchase of Standard Register Co. and its assets. Taylor Corp. is one of the largest privately held companies in the country with more than 9,000 employees. Glen Taylor, the billionaire founder of Taylor Corp., also owns the NBA’s Minnesota Timberwolves and the Minneapolis Star Tribune.
