Two Iowa Printing Businesses Merge
Jim Eaton, CEO, and Pat Rhoades, president of Allegra Marketing, Print, Mail, together with Mitch Eaton, Lance Eaton and Jeannette Heuer of The Printing Station have announced a merger between the two companies. Daily operations will move forward as Allegra Marketing, Print, Mail with all services, sales and production activities under one roof at 4149 120th St. in Urbandale.
“It’s a win-win situation for customers of both businesses,” Rhoades said. “Our enhanced capabilities will help us serve our diverse and growing client base. The combined resources allow us to offer new capabilities while increasing workflow efficiencies.”
Lance Eaton has joined the Allegra sales team as director of sales. Rhoades also noted that Mitch Eaton and Jeannette Heuer, co-owners of The Printing Station, will be staying on with Allegra for a time to ensure a smooth transition for customers. Seven additional staff members have joined the Allegra team.
“Each company brings something unique and powerful to the table,” Lance Eaton said. “The Printing Station has been a leader in the Des Moines marketplace in web-to-print services for many years. Allegra boasts vast resources and expertise in strategic marketing, web-development, and other expanded services.”
In addition to marketing consultation and graphic design services, Allegra features advanced printing technologies including full-color printing, digital color signs, posters and banners, complete finishing services, mailing services, variable data capabilities, promotional products and print management solutions.
“The merger of Allegra and The Printing Station has created an even stronger company that is better able to serve all of our customers with enhanced capabilities in marketing communications,” Jim Eaton said. “We are thrilled to expand our team and look forward to continuing to serve greater Des Moines for years to come.”
